M Y R O O M
There in the corner sits my mattress
I like her and there I feel save
My room has two doors
both of equal size
leaning against each other
one leads to nowhere
while choosing the other
is leaving the room
good to know in an emergency
My room comes with two windows
one big and one small
I use them to have a look
at the world outside
I glimpse through the glass
and hope everyone’s alright
When I switch off the light
I confuse duty with desire
Let me take the route
straight to your heart
In the dark we do the things
we never dared to do before
I wake with the first sunrays stripping
a new day has made it
even to this
not so remote place
High dark mountains
behind my window
deep blue sea on the wall
I’m turning into directions
not conceivable at all
In the dark we do the things
we never dared to do before
I ask you
isnt it true?
